Afaq Agro

We grow quality before we harvest the herbs.

Quality standard

Quality starts at the roots... and continues until it reaches you.

At Afaq Agro , we adhere to the highest international quality standards by implementing a strict and comprehensive traceability system that ensures product identification from the moment it is cultivated until it reaches the final consumer. Every stage of the supply chain—from planting and harvesting, through drying and production, to packaging and export—is overseen by a team of experts and specialized supervisors to ensure full compliance with international standards, particularly those related to organic farming.

We also undergo periodic inspections by accredited regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all quality regulations and procedures.

Our certified quality assurance system includes:
Sensory testing: to evaluate appearance, color, smell, and flavor.
Microscopic examination: to detect any foreign materials.
Identification tests: to verify the purity and authenticity of the product.
Heavy metal analysis: Based on customer requirements.
Microbiology analysis: to detect pathogens such as E. coli and Salmonella.
Chemical analysis: to measure moisture, volatile oils, total ash, and acid-insoluble ash.
Pesticide residue analysis: to ensure the product is free of chemical contaminants.

Important information

Allergens

We have a comprehensive allergen prevention program and have implemented strict controls in our manufacturing processes to prevent cross-contamination of our products with allergens.

Separate organic and non-organic products

Our company follows a very strict policy of production segregation at all stages of production from cultivation to the final product.

metal detection

A particularly serious challenge is the presence of metal fragments in the product during processing. This is largely controlled through two different prevention steps:
1) Highly sensitive and powerful magnets at the inputs and outputs of all machines
2) Metal detectors that the product must pass through immediately before being packaged into final packaging.

PA Content

The PA content must be analyzed and we must ensure its compliance after consulting our Quality Assurance in coordination and notification of our customers' specifications and requirements.

New pesticide residues to be analyzed, e.g. glyphosate

Our quality department is updated daily with new quality requirements and procedures. New pesticides, such as glyphosate, must be analyzed. Our quality department ensures that our laboratory is informed of any new pesticides added for analysis and detection to ensure product quality.

Laboratory analysis

Our professional staff continuously monitors product quality to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Random samples of all raw materials are rigorously tested and compared to our quality specifications and customer quality requirements to verify their authenticity and ensure compliance. All batch samples are retained for five years and are traceable for verification.
Tiba Herbal uses not only our QCAP-certified laboratory but also the GBA Laboratory (Germany) to ensure the completeness and validation of our analyses. Testing includes sensory analysis of aroma, color, flavor, and texture. Physical tests include moisture, volatile oil content, heavy metals, microbiology, pesticide residues, and other tests specific to each herb.
